Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : The incumbent should be B Sc in Microbiology with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Desired skills ( वांछित कौशल ) : The person should have basic operational knowledge of fermenter, freeze drier and high capacity centrifuge, & ‘Good Lab Practices’ especially from microbiological perspective.

Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :1. To conduct basic microbiological activities viz. media and reagents preparation, sterilization, microbial culture growth & maintenance, micro-pipetting, colony counting, microscopy, biochemical testing, and plating etc. 2. To operate basic microbiological equipment such as autoclave, laminar air flow, water bath, pH meter, spectrophotometer, PCR, and centrifuge etc. 3. Maintain inventory of the laboratory chemicals and reagents
